Joining Online Conversations (Mad Apple)

I love when brands quickly join the conversations happening on social platforms.

It's not easy to do with layers of approvals and, in my case, no time to head to a theater to film something specific to the need.

When it snowed in Vegas, everyone was posting about the snow-capped mountains, and it was a fun challenge to think about how a show on the Las Vegas strip could fit into that conversation.

I think this video for Mad Apple by Cirque du Soleil is a great example of how strategic organic content (SOC) can be used to create native content that speaks to the overall conversation on social media. Hopefully, VaynerMedia (Gary Vaynerchuk), who coined "SOC" agrees.

I'm thankful to Jenelle Jacks for empowering me as a creator and not bogging ideas down with 10 layers of approvals.
